About Us
Founded in 1966, the Dunearn Secondary School Concert Band is a vibrant and dedicated ensemble of young musicians who share a love for music and a commitment to excellence.
Guided by our band director and instructors, our members develop not only their musical skills, but also discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence. Through regular rehearsals, performances and shared experiences, the band continues to grow in both skill and unity, building on its rich history and tradition.
The band strives to inspire and engage audiences through dynamic and memorable performances, while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for music. Beyond a performing ensemble, the Concert Band is a community where friendships are forged, talents are nurtured, and students grow together through the joy of making music.
