Dance Beyond Boundaries
Welcome to International Dance, the vibrant dance CCA of Dunearn Secondary School!
In 2026, our CCA embarked on an exciting new chapter as we transformed from a contemporary dance group into a dynamic Hip Hop and K-pop dance group. This new direction allows our dancers to explore a wider range of energetic and expressive dance styles while celebrating the diverse cultures and influences that shape the world of dance.
Our training goes beyond learning choreography. Through regular practices, dancers develop discipline, teamwork, confidence, musicality and stage presence. They learn to work together as a team, support one another and push beyond their comfort zones. Most importantly, we hope to nurture dancers who enjoy the process of learning, performing and growing together.

Performing at these celebrations has given our dancers the opportunity to experience and appreciate different cultural traditions while using dance to bring the school community together.
Each performance presents a new challenge and learning experience. From learning and adapting choreography to synchronising movements, building stage presence and managing performance nerves, our dancers continue to grow in confidence with every opportunity.
Our upcoming Open House Flash Mob will be another exciting opportunity for our dancers to surprise, energise and engage the Dunearn community!
Learning Beyond the Studio
We believe that dancers grow not only through training and performing, but also by watching, observing and learning from others.
Recently, our dancers had the opportunity to attend the Super24 Secondary Finals, where they watched some of the best school dance teams showcase their creativity, precision and performance quality.
It was an eye-opening experience for our dancers. Seeing the high standards achieved by other young dancers gave them a better understanding of what is possible and inspired them to challenge themselves further. The experience reminded us that great performances are built through hard work, perseverance, teamwork and countless hours of practice.
