Dunearn Attained the Green Schools Award 2022

Dunearn Secondary School earned a 3-star Green Schools Award in 2022 for its efforts in building environmental awareness among students through recycling drives and community activities.
On 15th March 2023, our school was awarded 3 stars in the Green Schools @ South West 2022 programme. Held by the South West CDC, this programme recognises the school’s efforts in educating and instilling public responsibility for our environment in children and youth throughout 2022.

Throughout the year, our students participated actively in activities such as the termly recycling drive, Essential Workers Appreciation Day and the Junior Environment Ambassador (JEA) workshop and became more aware of our impact on the environment. Through these activities, our school aims to inculcate good habits among the students, and for them to be ambassadors of our environment.
